Is he/she a child? Nor is an adult. What is it? For me, the answer is, the teenager is
what he or she wants to be. His parents are his companions.
Adolescence is one of the worst ages treated socially. The world pays attention to
what they don’t understand about teenagers and gets bothered about their
“nonsense”. They do not realize that adolescence is the moment where the human
being has the greatest potential of its life. Behind the acne, their laziness,
infatuation, boredom, there are possibilities, strength, creativity, youth and chances
to grow.
For many families the adolescent is a challenge because they do not know how to
manage it. They are like a bar of soap, you grab them on one side and they come out
on the other since they don’t know if they are coming or going.
